Billy Beane, the Oakland Athletics general manager made famous by the book and movie “Moneyball,” recently put his Danville home on the market. Records show that Beane and his wife, Tara, purchased the five-bedroom, five-bathroom estate for $1.735 million in 2002, around the time Michael Lewis was researching and writing “Moneyball.” was being researched and written. The couple is asking $1.895 million for the property.
