Dear JA Social Innovation Camp Mentors,
Thank you for the commitment you made last week to being a mentor for the second annual JA Social Innovation Camp at Bishop Ranch. As ‘Team 2’ pointed out in their presentation entitled, ‘How can we revolutionize our schooling system’, the benefit to society of connecting students to the real world is gaining a responsible generation and a better prepared/skilled population. I’m not sure if JA could have said it better! The support we received from you last week made this connection possible and helped JA works towards our mission of ensuring students are inspired and prepared to succeed in a global economy.
I wanted to share the attached letters we received from some of the students that participated in the camp as I think they illustrate the importance of this experience (be sure to visit some of the student blogs) for them. JA echos their thank you as the camp would not have been possible without your time and commitment. Please also be sure to view some of the photos from the event on our facebook page at SIC at Robert Half.
Thank you again for volunteering your time and your support for these students!
All the best,
